Our Journey: From 60 Square Meters to Global Solutions
At Barat Industrial Plastic Engineering, our story is built on technical expertise, a passion for production, and continuous evolution. Here is our transformation from a modest workshop into an international brand and technology hub:
2009
Laying the Foundations
We took our first step into the sector in a small 60 m² workshop in the Köseköy Industrial Zone. Starting as a sole proprietorship, we focused on the maintenance, repair, and renovation of factories. Even before we had a production line, we became known as a "solution partner" in the sector by giving new life to broken piping systems and damaged tanks with engineering solutions.
The Birth of Production Capacity
To meet increasing demand, we moved to a 120 m² facility within the same site. By acquiring our first production machinery, we transitioned from repair to manufacturing, specializing in storage tanks and scrubber (gas scrubbing) systems.

First Expansion in Production Capacity
Continuing our steady growth, we expanded to a 250 m² workshop. This allowed us to manufacture larger tanks, establish entire facilities, and participate in our first international projects.
Engineering Power and Turnkey Solutions
Expanding to a 400 m² facility, we integrated CNC machining centers into our infrastructure. By strengthening our engineering and field teams, we evolved into an engineering powerhouse capable of delivering "Turnkey" industrial plants.

Industrialization and Global Branding
In 2015, we laid the foundation for our modern 4,000 m² factory. By 2016, we shifted our focus toward project-based exports and innovative environmental investments. During the same period, we joined prestigious NGOs such as KalDer (Turkish Quality Association) and BAŞSİAD, solidifying our commitment to quality and business excellence.
Innovation That Captured Global Headlines (Reuters & Patents)
During the pandemic, we redirected our engineering capabilities toward public health. We developed 5 different models of disinfection machines, protected by 3 patents, featuring technology unique in the world. This success was discovered and broadcast globally by the Reuters News Agency. Consequently, we achieved direct sales to 16 countries and provided samples to 24 countries, proving our status as a global player.

Present: BYFIX and Sectoral Diversification
We channeled our passion for the automotive industry into our new brand, BYFIX. In the fields of camping, caravan, and automotive accessories, we introduced unique designs protected by 3 patents and over 100 utility models and registered designs. BYFIX has rapidly become a leading brand, especially in the design of search and rescue vehicles and equipment.
Beyond: Digitalization and Sustainability
2024 marked our year of digital transformation. By strengthening our software and technological infrastructure, we moved toward full digitalization in production. Today, guided by our sustainability vision, we continue to design eco-friendly products that reduce carbon footprints and specialized equipment for chemical processing.
