Controlling chemical vapors and gases is a fundamental requirement in industrial and commercial facilities.
As Barat Industrial Plastics Engineering, we manufacture centrifugal acid fans with stainless steel rotors and plastic bodies, ranging in capacity from 10,000 m3/h to 100,000 m3/h, for use in industrial areas. Customizable fan designs are offered to meet customer needs.
Fans are available with direct coupled, belt pulley, or coupling drive.
ATEX compliant motors are used if requested.
These fans provide you with a clean working environment by ensuring the safe and effective discharge of acid and other corrosive chemical vapors.
When high pressures and flow rates are reached, the use of rotors made of PP material is not suitable. Depending on the application, AISI304L, AISI316L or AISI316Ti alloy stainless steel rotors are used in these fans.
Chemical Resistance: PP material and stainless steel alloys show high resistance to acids and other chemical substances. This ensures efficient transport of acid and chemical vapors and extends the fan's lifespan.
Corrosion Resistance: Specially designed for use in acidic environments, plastic fans with stainless steel rotors exhibit high corrosion resistance and are therefore long-lasting.
Lightweight and Durable: The lightweight and robust structure of PP material makes the fan easy to transport and facilitates easy assembly. The stainless steel rotor withstands high pressure. and provides fan manufacturing in various flow rates.
High Performance: Thanks to their optimized design and correctly selected motors, stainless steel rotor plastic fans provide high performance and quickly clean the air in your workspace.
Low Maintenance Requirement: Manufactured from durable materials, our fans reduce your operating costs with low maintenance requirements. The fan housing does not corrode in any way.

Our fans are generally manufactured from PP (Polypropylene) or, according to customer requirements, from HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) thermoplastic materials. Fan rotors are made of AISI304L, AISI316L, or AISI316Ti alloy stainless steel.
The variety of environments in which plastic fans can be used is wide-ranging thanks to their durable construction and chemical resistance.
Plastic fans can be manufactured in a wide range of capacities. At Barat Industrial Plastics Engineering, we produce fans in various capacities from 150 m³/h to 100,000 m³/h. Plastic fans with stainless steel rotors have higher flow rates and pressures compared to acid fans.
